Miniature Schnauzer Puppies for California Families
Why California Families Choose Great Basin
Choosing a breeder is about much more than choosing the closest puppy. Families who come to Great Basin are looking for a breeder who puts thoughtful preparation into those important first weeks of a puppy’s life.
Our puppies come from health-tested parents and are raised with purposeful socialization, enrichment, and everyday experiences. Before go-home day, they are introduced to potty and crate-training foundations, grooming and handling, and age-appropriate routines. We also complete personality testing to help families better understand their puppy’s developing temperament.
Our goal is to make the distance worthwhile by sending home a puppy who has been thoughtfully raised and prepared from the beginning.
Bringing Your Puppy Home to California
We regularly work with families who live outside Nevada and understand that bringing your puppy home takes a little extra planning. California families are welcome to travel to us for pickup, and we can also help coordinate transportation options when needed.
For families who prefer not to make the drive, a flight nanny can accompany your puppy during air travel and personally deliver them to an agreed-upon airport. Transportation arrangements and costs are discussed individually so we can determine the best option for you and your puppy.
Where you live shouldn’t keep you from choosing the breeder and puppy that feel right for your family.
